Dear colleagues,
The next Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis International Society (PGDIS) meeting will be held April 23-26, 2008 in the beautiful city of Barcelona, Spain. The PGDIS conference is an intimate yet intense scientific meeting focused on unresolved issues in Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD) and its clinical application. Attendees should expect cutting edge research presentations and open discussions between participants and faculty.
The PGDIS meeting was initially designed for IVF practitioners focused on PGD and technical PGD staff. However, today PGD is a tool commonly utilized in the ART practice and applied in most IVF centers. In 2008, the meeting will have two sessions with one focusing on general topics intended for IVF practitioners and embryologists and the other aimed at technical PGD laboratory personnel. A session open to the general public will be included in hope we can reach the patient’s, give them a voice at an international meeting and answer their burning questions.
Visiting Barcelona in spring allows one to enjoy the areas in the most beautiful month of the year in a city full of culture, architectural marvels, and exquisite cuisine while nested between spectacular Mediterranean beaches, wine country and the snowy Pirinees. We hope that you will also take this opportunity to experience local culture as the capital of Catalonia enjoys the festivity of Sant Jordi.
We cordially and warmly invite you to this meeting.
